Jalandhar 13 March (Jaswinder Azad)- With women safety becoming questionable and humanity being driven to deplorable state, the Department of Commerce and Management of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a Choreography Competition and Publicity Campaign highlighting these issues. The choreographies of the students centred upon the themes of Women Safety, Being Human, Honour Killing, Corruption and Black Money, Swachh Bharat, Make in India, Global Warming and Environment Conversation. Bringing forth new and innovative ideas, 9 teams of students; Peace Makers, Hifazat, Soul-Breakers,  Spirit Shakers, Volcano Crew,  Desi Kalakar,  Team Shadow, The Ashwaz and Chakne participated in this venture to raise voice against these burning affairs. These teams adopted diverse methods to depict their ideas on stage in the form of Nukkad Natak,  Flash Mobs,  Skits and Games etc. Dr. Monika, Dr. Manisha and Ms. Payal judged the dedicated performances of the students.
Principal Dr. Sucharita felt astonished to see the zeal and gusto of students and expressed that being the change is what brings the change. While participating in such ventures, students not only raise voice against infectious factors of society but also motivate others to stand against them.
