Lack of patience is root cause for divorces: Parminder Beri
Jalandhar 19 February (Jaswinder Azad)- A motivational talk under She Walks She Talks series was delivered by a renowned social activist, Ms. Parminder Beri at CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan. She is the member of various committees working on welfare of women and is also associated with various NGOs and other organizations. These series were initiated by Mrs. Jasmine Toor Bhatara, followed by Ms. Canada India Tanpreet Parmar and Dr. Maninder Minhas, Dr. Sukriti Sharma, Ms. Anjali Dada and now Beri became the part of sixth motivational talk.
She motivated female students with her personal and professional experiences. She said, “I have been working on the welfare of women since long time now. I am associated with various organizations like Red Cross Society, Hospital Welfare along with the member of police and judicial panels etc. I started my schooling when I was in seventh standard. I was always keen in standing for the rights of women. Over the period of time, I have realized that women lack patience which is the major root cause for the increase in divorce cases.”
While speaking at length, she convinced students to remain patient and use their rights in a right way. She further said, “Women shall use their media tools especially mobile phones in a right way because these are like atom bombs and once misused it can ruin one’s life especially through social media. One shall be confident enough to face challenges in life.”
Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, the co-chairperson of CT Educational Society appreciated the presence of Ms. Beri for sharing her focused journey and wise thoughts with the students. Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Director, CT Maqsduan Campus extended a warm note of thanks to the guest of the day for giving her precious time to the students.
