Lyallpur Khalsa College celebrate the National Republic Day

Jalandhar 25 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Students at Lyallpur Khalsa College highlighted the significance of national unity and integrity through Paper Reading, Slogan Writing and Poster making competitions in an event organized to celebrate the National Republic Day. In this event organized by the Social Sensitization Club of the Paper Reading, Slogan Writing and Poster making competitions were held in which large number of students grabbed the opportunity to showcase their talent and skills. Speaking on the occasion the College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that the country which attained the status of Republic decades ago is now various challenges today such issues could only be dealt with a sense of unity and solidarity among the countrymen. He advised the students to be aware of their rights given to them by the Republic and spread further awareness of the same. Yashika Jain, Rahul Batra, Bhavna Saini, Harkirat Kaur, Navneet Kaur, Neetu Yadav and Manpreet Kailey were among the students attaining Ist, IInd and IIIrd positions in various events. Prizes to these students and all the participants were given by Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra. Judgement duties were performed by Prof. Ravneet Bains, Prof. Sandeep Bassi and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur while the event also witnessed the presence of Prof. Amita Shahid, Dr. Patwant Atwal, Dr. Gitanjali, Prof. Ubique and many students and staff members.
