GNDU honoured the winners of North Zonal Youth Festival

Jalandhar 22 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar honoured the winners of North Zonal Youth Festival. The talented brigade of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar added shine to its sparkling fame by representing Guru Nanak Dev University in North Zonal Youth Festival held at Maharishi Markendeshwar University, Mulana, Ambala from 12Th to 16Th January, 2018. The students of Apeejay’s Department of Music participated in Classical Vocal, Classical Percussion, Classical Non Percussion, Gazal, Western Vocal Solo, Western Group Song, Indian Group Song and Folk Orchestra. The students of Theatre made the mark of excellence in One Act Play, Skit, Mime, Mimicry and Fine Arts’ Students garnered glory in the competitions of Cartooning, Clay Modelling, Collage, Rangoli, On the Spot Photography, Installation and Classical Dance. The budding artists of Apeejay brought laurels to the college and University by bagging numero uno position in these competitions. On this triumphant accomplishment, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar honoured the students of Apeejay for their significant contribution by representing university.
Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma lauded the untiring efforts of Dr. Amita Mishra, Dean, Youth Welfare Department and Dr. Arun Mishra. She also congratulated the Students on this momentous occasion. The Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar will now gear up for performing in 14 items in National Youth Festival.
