Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a Guest Lecture on E-Commerce

Jalandhar 24 January (Jaswinder Azad)- The Department of Computer Science and I.T. of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a Guest Lecture on E-Commerce and its contextual implication in present times.  In this venture, Mr. M.J. Kalra, Former Professor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar enlightened the students about the scopes of e-marketing. He demonstrated the students about the traits of new trends of online business and markets.
He elaborated his views that the new trends have opened vast avenues in India as it is considered as a market with huge profits. India has more than 24 crore users of social media which is unmatched throughout globally.  The increasing use of smart phones and online shopping has made life quite easy with the Apps like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra etc. that anyone can buy anything just by following simple steps. So he acquainted the students with professional skills required to establish themselves as the traders in e-markets.
Principal Dr. Sucharita shared her views that everyone is rapidly being covered by technological revolution so the knowledge of technologies can open vast areas of profession to the young aspirants. She said such lectures are always fruitful for the students as they learn a great deal to make their careers.
