5-day INSPIRE Science Camp came to a phenomenal close at HMV

Jalandhar 19 January (Gurkirat Singh)- The concluding day of 4th INSPIRE Internship Science Camp organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya witnessed the presence of social activist, Padamshri Sant Baba Balbir Singh Ji Seechewal, popularly known as Waterman of Punjab. The event commenced with DAV Anthem and the guests were offered a warm welcome by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Calling Sant Seechewal as a real messenger of God on Earth, Dr. Sareen said that he is an epitome of selfless service to the humanity. The works initiated by him outreach the capacities of ordinary human beings.  She also motivated the students urging them to clear their doubts as the first thing in order to enhance the efficiency of work. Sant Seechewal Ji in his address made the students aware of the rising levels of pollution in water. He said that Mother Nature belongs to all and every individual has a right to pure air, water and food. He told about different ways to reuse solid and liquid waste products. Students were shown videos related to right use of water and treating the natural resources as heavenly gifts.  Saplings of Indian blackberry and gulmohar trees were planted in the premises. Students put up enthusiastic participation in the quiz conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Kanika and Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur. They enjoyed to their hearts the afternoon session speckled with songs, dances and dramatics.
