NCC Cadets of HMV visited Pingalwara and Apahaj Ashram

Jalandhar 20 November (Jaswinder Azad)- The NCC (Army Wing and Air Wings) Cadets of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya visited Pingalwara and Apahaj Ashram as per the action plan forwarded by 2nd Pb. Girls Battalion, NCC, Jalandhar.  All the NCC cadets of HMV visited Pingalwara and Apahaj Ashram to distribute fruits and biscuits to more than 200 persons.  NCC Coordinator Dr. Rajiv Kumar told them National Cadet Corps (NCC) is celebrating NCC week from 19th to 25th November and NCC Day on 26th November.  The NCC cadets distributed fruits among the persons residing in Pingalwara and Apahaj Ashram and spend some quality time with them.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated these efforts and said that such activities inculcate the feeling of serving among youth towards the elderly people.  During the visit, the cadets were accompanied by HAV K. Kumar from 2nd Pb. Girls BN, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Mrs. Saloni Sharma, Ms. Sonia Mahendru, Ms. Purnima, Mrs. Rama Sharma and Mr. Pankaj Jyoti, Supdt. Accounts.
