Jalandhar 14 November (Jaswinder Azad)- Providing quality education and marching ahead with confident strides since last 20 years, CT Educational Society is all prepared to spread its wings by introducing a unique concept of schooling through a newly built school named CT World School. By offering global education, braced by the strong foundation of Indian tradition, culture and values, this school aims at setting an example in the domain of quality education with a curriculum of excellence, where global dimensions are central to the education of children and prepare them to face varied challenges of 21st century.
True to its credo ‘Connecting Life and Learning’, the school aims to choose the path of educating children as opposed to just schooling them and to bridge the gap that often exists between schooling and real life, said Ms. Madhu Sharma (Principal, CT World School) who has more than 24 years of academic experience. While interacting with the media, she further said, “The key objective of the school will be to meet every child’s individual needs and learning styles and prepare prospective students for a New World Order, where every learner emerges as a champion, not only as the highest percentage scorer but, as a musician, dancer, actor, entrepreneur and a sports person. The school has a world class infrastructure with the facilities to hone the latent talent of young learners and comprises of three exclusive wings called Greenhorns, Bloomers and Achievers to meet the age requirement of students from 2 to 18 years.”
The school has taken an initiative to collaborate with Cambridge University Press with a common vision of unlocking the potential of learners with the best learning and research solutions. With this, CT World School has become one of its kind schools in the region to have such agreement signed. Speaking about the collaboration, Mr. Amit Baveja (National Sales & Marketing Head, English Language Teaching, Cambridge University Press India) said, “CT World School has a strong foundation and is backed up by the CT Group, which is a very prestigious organization in the field of education. The collaboration with Cambridge University Press under the Knowledge Partnership programme would enable the teachers and learners of CT World School to benefit from the scientifically structured and highest quality resources and learning solutions produced by the Press. The partnership also provides teacher development opportunities as part of the model enabling the teachers to up skill and deliver more impactful learning in the classrooms”
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) said that the MoU is based on Transforming Language Education, providing an opportunity to debate and proposes practical solutions to one of the most important issues facing young people today: how to gain the wide-ranging skills required for 21st-century employment. Three sorts of collaborations are key to an efficiently functioning education system - collaboration between students as peers, collaboration between students &teachers and collaboration with the experts who drive the direction of the whole system. Off-course the golden thread that runs through all three forms of collaboration is language. Collaboration is based on communication - you can't collaborate without speaking. You can't collaborate without listening.”
On this new venture, he further said, “We are pleased to share that this school is an endeavor of CT Group that has traversed 20 glorious years since its establishment in 1997. The unique thing that we will cater to is to prepare children for the real test called Life, where they will be trained exclusively and beyond their curriculum.”
