Jalandhar 13 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Principal Girish Kumar extended a warm welcome to the delegation of students and teachers from Daejeon Jijok Middle School, South Korea. The concluding day of the four day International student exchange programme being hosted by Apeejay School Jalandhar,was solemnised today in a Special Assembly organised for the occasion.
A theatre Enactment on ' We are one' based on Indian tradition of hospitality was presented featuring South Korean students as well. This was followed by a soulful rendition of National Anthems of both the countries by all the students . The cultural awareness quiz was organised in which four teams of two participants each with one Korean participant in every team took part,The delegation showed great interest in electronics,robotics,sculpture,and art classes. The young guest were  very impressed  with the  Indian cuisine specially 'Golgappas' and 'Samosa' while  the korean teacher specially dressed in Gujrati saree every single day of her stay.
Principal Girish Kumar arranged a dinner at 'Rangla Punjab' and gave the international guest a taste of traditional Punjabi cuisine . The delegation praised  the efforts of principal and school in making their stay enjoyable and informative . They extended an invitation to the principal and students and  to visit South Korea. principal presented them with mementos and expressed pride in the selection of Apeejay school for the south Korean International student exchange programme.
