Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar have collaboratively organized DIWALI MELA-17

Jalandhar 13 October (Jaswinder Azad)- The Departments of Design, Applied Arts and Fine Arts of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar have collaboratively organized DIWALI MELA-17 from 13th October to 15th October 2017 at Virsa Vihar, Jalandhar from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Mrs. Parveen Sharma wife of Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest.
The event is a show window of a variety of Designer Products and Accessories like Fashion Clothing, Home Merchandising Articles like Furniture, Lamps, Wall Hangings, Clocks, Tapestries, Murals and Exclusive Diwali Products skillfully made by young designers of the college.  The special feature of this exhibition is that even the natives of Jalandhar are invited to encourage and inspire the youngsters to exhibit their skills.  The motive of this carnival is to provide a platform to young design aspirants where they can exhibit their creative skills and it also paves the road to success so that they not only become independent but can also help others to work on their talented skills.
Mrs. Parveen Sharma felt astonished to see the innovative and creative skills of the students and shared her views that if such youngsters lead India in their talented hands then India will very soon touch the pinnacles of success in all the fields.
Principal Dr. Sucharita shared her views that the College is always organizing such type of exhibitions to provide a platform to all the budding designers so that they can showcase their talent to the world. She also said that such events groom the overall personality of youngsters by boosting their confidence to excel in any professional field.
