DAV College organised essay writing competition on the occasion of Hindi Day

Jalandhar 15 September (Gurkirat Singh)- A competition was organized at DAV College, Jalandhar on the occasion of Hindi Day. At the beginning of the program, Dr. Usha Uppal, Head of the Department of Sanskrit,  welcomed Dr. Sanjeev k Arora (Principal DAV College, Jalandhar) by offering a flower bouquet. Dr. Usha Uppal informed about the usefulness of Hindi in the modern era. She made the students aware about the role of Hindi in this era of revolution. On this occasion, she inspired the youth to become aware of Hindi and appealed to adopt Hindi. Meanwhile, Principal Dr. Sanjeev Arora gave detailed information on the opportunities of employment in various departments to the students regarding the golden future and Hindi language in the field of Hindi. He said that the highest development of any country is in its own language. China, Japan, Russia etc. Many of these are examples. However, in the last few years, businessmen have been promoting the correct Hindi and its affiliate Indian language only for their own interests. It was easy to write Hindi in mobile and computer, the language of advertising was Hindi, many apps, portals and website. Dr. Arora further said, but this is not enough. There is currently a change and a period of information. To promote Hindi, now let us take small initiatives like whenever you talk to people of other states, use Hindi.Write in Hindi only on the site and ignore posts written in English. Use newspaper is of Hindi language. Be sure to have a permanent language at a stable level but be sure to have Hindi at the national and international level. Best wishes to Hindi Day on behalf of my entire college. During this time, Shivam Kumar of Class XI recited a Hindi poem. At the same time BA first year student Hitesh Kumar presented the Doha song. On this occasion, about fifty students participated in essay writing competition and "Vishav Bhasha Hindi", "Apni Bhasha Apne Log", "Hindi hi kyu?", "Hindi Hai Hum Vatan Hai Hindustan Hamaara" as on 4 subjects manifested their views. At the end of this program, Prof. Sandeepna Sharma thanked the guests who came there. During this time, the role of stage-sharing was played by Dr. Minu Talwad. On this occasion, Prof. BB Sharma, Prof. Dinesh, Dr. Balwinder Singh and Prof. Sanjeet was present.
