CT Public School observed Hindi Diwas with great reverence

Jalandhar 14 September (Jaswinder Azad)- A special assembly was conducted in CT Public School to observe Hindi Diwas as on 14th September 1949 Hindi was adopted as the Official Language of the Union of India. The students designed posters and students of classes’ I-V framed slogans emphasizing on the importance of Hindi while the students of grade VI-X wrote poems and quotes of great writers accentuating the importance of Hindi. Mrs. Suman Rana (Principal, CT Public School) said that Hindi is one of the main languages of India and is spoken by around 40% of the Indian population. Hindi takes pride in being the mother tongue of 180 million people and the second language of 300 million people. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) asserted that the children should be adept in Hindi, English and their mother tongue and should give equal regard to all the languages.
