HMV students took pledge for New India

Jalandhar 9 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a pledge ceremony under New India Movement 2017-2022.  On this occasion, all the students of HMV took pledge on the 75th anniversary of Quit India Movement for making India, a new India.  Prime Minister of India Sh. Narendra Modi shared his vision of Sankalp Se Siddhi in Mann Ki Baat.  The students took pledge to build a New India towards a clean India, Poverty free India, Corruption Free India, Terrorism free India, Communalism free India & Casteism free India.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen addressed the students and said that in the year 1942, our freedom fighters started Quit India Movement in 1942 and on its 75th anniversary, it is our duty to take a pledge and start the programme of making New India.  On this occasion, School coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal, HOD Pol. Sc. Mrs. Nita Malik, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Mrs. Veena Arora, Dr. Nidhi Kochhar and other teachers were also present.
