HMV celebrated World Nature Conservation Day

Jalandhar 30 July (Gurkirat Singh)- The Environment Club of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya carried out an awareness drive to create awareness regarding fast deteriorating natural resources. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen expressed her concern over the stability of nature in the current scenario when mindless use of natural resources is bringing unprecedented changes in climate. To bring the students closer to nature, they were shown documentaries and they also participated in panel discussion.  Mrs. Jyoti Kaul, Incharge of Environment Club said that the time is already ripe and action must be taken to consume nature. Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Co-Incharge, Environment Club also stressed on the fact that the ice caps are melting fast and climate changes are inevitable. The conservation of nature is the only way for a healthier future of the planet. Dr. Shweta Chauhan also motivated the students to Go Green. The students signed a petition to take care of nature and consume natural resources.
