Students enthusiastically performed in Tech Fest 2017

More than 100 students took participation in different events
Jalandhar 16 March (Jaswinder Azad)- The sheer diversity of the events available at the Tech fest 2017 proved that it was complete technical event organized for students to judge them on basis of their technical knowledge. The fest was organized by CA department of CT Group of Institutions at its Shahpur Campus turned out to be a grand success. More than 100 students took participation in multiple events viz Logo Designing, Tech Quiz, Code Framing, Lan Gaming, Code Debugging, ADMAD and others.
In Logo Designing, students were given Save the girl child and Clean India Green India theme to design a logo on software like Adobe Photoshop and Coral Draw. By outperforming the first position was bagged by Lovepreet of M.SC IT-II, second was bagged by Jasvir Kaur of BCA-VI and third by Sarabjeet of B.Sc IT-IV.
The Tech Quiz was conducted to test the technical knowledge of students. This event had two rounds. The quiz was won by team of BCA-VI (Rajat, Asha and Prabhjot) of CT Institute of Management & Information Technology (CTIMIT) while the event Code Framing was much liked by students as it had both technical knowledge and speed. The first position was bagged by team of BCA-VI (Sanjay and Archana) of CT Institute of Management & Information Technology (CTIMIT).
In LAN Gaming, there were fun filled event related to games. The first position was bagged by Sourav of BCA-II, second was bagged by Sumit of BCA-II and third by Akash of BCA-II, while the event Code Debbuging was related to the codes. The first position was bagged by Gursharan Kaur of B.Sc-IT 6 of CT Institute of Higher Studies (CTIHS), second was bagged by Rohan and third was bagged by Asha of BCA-VI.
In the events like ADMAD was conducted at Seminar hall with much of participation and appreciation. The winner of the Event was class B.Sc-IT VI.  Besides the technical events, there were cultural performances by the international students those who performed on Indian fusion songs.
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) were immensely proud of the efforts put into the event, the turnout at the venue and the overall success of the event.  However had a bright gleam in their eyes as they look forward to Techfest coming back next year – Bigger. Better. Brighter than this year!
