CT Group organizes Miss Jalandhar on April 6, 2017


It is an event to promote youth & thus contributing to our goal as an organization
The applicant should be between 15-30 years of age
The title holder of Mrs. Jalandhar will be felicitated with the prize money of Rs. 51,000

Jalandhar 9 March (Gurkirat Singh)- CT Group of Institutions is organising MISS JALANDHAR’17, a glamorous event to boost visibility of fashion and promotion of brands associated. This mega event will provide platform to creative designers to display their art and equal opportunity to models to showcase their talent, boosting their confidence which will open vast opportunities for young designers & models. The Press conference was addressed by Mrs. Universal Runners-Up and Mrs. India Dr. Jasmine Toor Bhatara, Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) and Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CTIHM and Chairman of Hotel Management Board of Studies by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University) on Thursday. Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CTIHM and Chairman of Hotel Management Board of Studies by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University) informed that CT Institute of Fashion Designing is organizing a mega fashion competition, Miss Jalandhar as it will be a fusion of style, fashion and life here at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, CT Shahpur Campus. The day will likely to witness a spectacular ramp show with an exquisite exhibition of summer and occasions wears.  As per the response from the participants we are sure that they will set the ramp on fire with their scintillating and convinced performances. The title holder of Mrs. Jalandhar will be felicitated with the prize money of Rs. 51,000 while first runner up will be felicitated with Rs 11,000 and second runner up with Rs 51,00 with gift hampers. Besides, deserving participants will be felicitated with Beautiful Smile, Best Walk and Best Attire titles at the event. The judgment for the final event will be as the final  20  contestants will be judged on the basis of following rounds; Traditional Dress and  Western Wear then top 10 shortlisted from 20 contestants will be further judged by; Presenting a talent for maximum 3 minutes. The top five contestants will move on to the Question/Answer segment. After this complete session, the final result will be announced within 30 minutes. The judges for the main event will be the known names from the industry including Mrs. Universal Runners-Up and Mrs. India Dr. Jasmine Toor Bhatara. Addressing the conference, Dr.   Bhatara said, “This is a great initiative and a platform for the aspiring youngsters those who want to make their mark in the fashion industry. I am highly motivated and enthusiastic for being one of the judge and the mentor for the participants.” Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) informed that CT Institutions is running three years Graduate Programme under PTU in Fashion Designing i.e  B.Sc (Fashion Design) from 2014. This year our first batch (2014-17) will be passed out. So as a part of curriculum, the department of FASHION DESIGN is going to organize the mega event “MISS JALANDHAR’17” on 6th April 2017.
