Apeejay College of Fine arts Jalandhar welcomed the dignitaries with Folk Dance Gidha and Chirmi

Jalandhar 28 February (Jaswinder Azad)- As the clouds were floating in the sky, the designer works of the students were spreading their innovation in the premises of Apeejay College of Fine arts Jalandhar. The inauguration ceremony of Apeejay’s Fifth International Design Week commenced with traditional welcome of renowned artists from Netherlands and Belgium. In this 7 Day venture, Rene’ Pijnenburg Schijndel, Designer (interior) Architecture, Fleur Swildens, Designer, Ge Smit Geertruidenberg, Sr. Art Director, Designer , Creative Thinker and Pieter Vlaniings Nijnregen, Producer, Director, Ms. Maria (Marjolein) van Vorstenbos, Ms. Paulina (Paula) Rennings and Ms. Monica (Moniek) van der Werf will enlighten the students about diverse design patterns of Graphic Designing, Architecture and Arts.
On the curtain Raiser day, students of the college welcomed the dignitaries with Folk Dance Gidha and Chirmi. The resource persons also interacted with students on the topic of this Design Week; ‘Why not living the city’.  In this Design Week, 200 students of the college will interact with the resource persons and work on the concept of Smart City
Principal Dr. Sucharita welcomed all the distinguished personalities and shared her views that Apeejay always works hard to flourish the Artistic works of youngsters and this design week will prove to be a milestone in the careers of these budding artists.
